No Meeting for August
Trips: August 25, the seniors will be going to Woodstock, Ga. shopping. The bus will leave the church at 9 a.m. Everyone will have to pay for their own eats!
August 27, the seniors will be going somewhere, the place and time will be announced later! Everyone will have to pay for their own eats!
If a trip is offered with Faith Silver Circle benefits, you must be a member 1 month and attend 1 meeting!

Faith Silver Circle, the Seniors of Faith Worship Center, have a fund raiser. The company is RADA CUTLERY. They sell knives, stoneware, candles, cookbooks and quick mixes, (White Chocolate Raspberry Sweet Dip, Vanilla Latte Sweet Dip or Island Coconut Sweet Dip and others).

Tips from Gaynelle
Salt Packed Citrus shell Air Freshener: cut an orange in half and remove the pulp; fill the empty shell with some salt; put in the back of your fridge as a fridge freshener; keep the orange shell in a small bowl so it won't tip over and spill the salt. The salt absorbs stale and nasty odors while the shell releases a fresh, orange smell. I also tuck one of the behind the toilet in our bathroom.
Homemade Herbal Carpet Freshener: 6 cups baking soda, 3 cups dried lavender buds/flowers* Crushed, 1 cup cornstarch. Mix well and store in an airtight plastic container (a clean ice-cream pail works great). Set aside for a couple days before using. Sprinkle generously on carpet and let sit for one hour before vacuuming.
ALTERNATIVE RECIPES: Cloves & Cinnamon (50/50 mix); Lavender & Rosemary (50/50 mix); Dried Mint Leaves; Eucalyptus.
Vanilla & Cloves Air Freshener Spray: 1 cup water; 1 cup household vinegar; 1 TBS vanilla extract; 1 tsp. cloves; Bring all ingredients to a boil then simmer over medium heat for two minutes. Remove from heat and allow too cool. Strain Cloves then pour liquid into spray bottle, shake and use as needed.
